The Space

Inside | Downstairs

Enjoy a spacious first-floor and all our family-friendly amenities. The layout includes a foyer, dining room, kitchen, living room, half bath, and the ultimate game room! Available for your stay is a fully equipped kitchen: electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge with filtered water and ice dispenser, Keurig pod/carafe coffee machine, electric kettle, Instantpot, pots & pans, cooking utensils, baking sheets, knives, silverware, dinnerware, drinkware, kitchen gadgets, and other small appliances. Enjoy your meals at our custom-made 9-foot dining table. As you make your way to the game room you'll be met with endless options of fun! Inside you'll find four arcades, a foosball table, air hockey, Boss Toss LED game, rollerball, board games, magnetized wall games, a 70" Smart TV, DVD player (and DVDs), and a big comfy sectional couch. The downstairs half bath is also equipped with a washer and dryer available for you to use during your stay. In the living room, you'll find plenty of seating as well as a sleeper sofa for extra bed space, an electric fireplace, a Smart TV, a DVD player, putters and golf balls, and an acoustic guitar for the musician in you. For the little ones, we have a KidKraft kids' table and chairs, kids' dinnerware, a high chair, a pack-n-play, an infant activity floor seat, a retractable baby gate, infant toys, and kids' books.

 

INSIDE | Upstairs

The second-floor houses all three bedrooms. At the top of the stairs is a bedroom with a Queen bed and your own private door to the balcony. The next bedroom offers Twin-over-Full bunk beds and bean bag chairs. The master bedroom offers a King bed with an en-suite master bath, a ceiling fan, a walk-in closet, a couch that folds into a sleeper, and your own private door to the balcony. All three bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs, DVD players, closets, clothes hangers, dressers, and luggage racks. There is also a shared bathroom in the upstairs hallway with a shower-tub combo, an anti-slip tub mat, and a rinse cup for the kiddos.

 

OUTSIDE | Backyard

The fully enclosed backyard features an in-ground outdoor pool with depths from 3 ft-6 ft deep, a pool safety gate, a new 5-person hot tub with lights and jets, a putting green, sun and lounge chairs, couch seating, a picnic table, and string lights.

PLEASE NOTE: the pool is a seasonal amenity (usually May-Sept.) and is not offered for the entire year. The pool is not heated and it is not a saltwater pool.

 

OUTSIDE | Front Yard

The front yard features a newly built fire pit area complete with seating for eight. Polywood Adirondack chairs, end tables, and a swing bench. Perfect for lounging fireside and roasting s'mores. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am.

  • Why book with us directly?
    Booking directly through our website allows you to take advantage of lower rates and discounts that are not available on third-party websites. By booking directly, you can save money on your vacation home rental, ensuring you get the best rate possible.
  • Do you allow pets?
    In short, no. We love animals but unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets or other animals at this time. No exceptions. A minimum fee of $100 per animal will be imposed if unauthorized animals are brought to our cabin.
  • We are traveling with kids. What kid-friendly items do you have on site?
    We provide pack-n-plays, high chairs or booster seats, kids silverware & dishes, removable safety gates, infant books and toys and a game room. We've got three kiddos ourselves and can appreciate being able to pack light.
  • How do I reserve a stay?
    Simply choose the available dates you are looking for and select Book Now. If you would rather send us an inquiry first, you can do so at stay@momentgetaways.com
  • How do I pay for the stay?
    You will be asked to pay for your stay at the end of the booking process using a Credit Card via Stripe. The full amount is due upon booking.
  • Are there any additional fees or taxes?
    Yes, each guest must pay a cleaning fee, as well as local & state lodging taxes.
  • How old do I have to be to book?
    Booking guests must be 23 or older to reserve a stay at our cabin and must remain present for the duration of the stay. No third-party bookings.
  • Are you wheelchair accessible?
    Unfortunately, no. Both cabins have quite a bit of stairs and no ramps.
  • Do you provide a guidebook with local things to do & see?
    Yes! All registered guests will receive immediate access to our complete digital guidebook. From places to eat, to experiences, and adventures, we've got a whole bunch of local recommendations.
  • Do you have security cameras?
    For your safety, and to protect our property, we have installed security cameras on the exterior of the cabin only. We value our guests' privacy and do not actively monitor during your stay. These cameras allow us to track cleaning/maintenance schedules, check-ins & and check-outs, as well as any potential hazards that may need our immediate attention. Do not tamper with the cameras. These cameras are on their own private server, only accessible to the host. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort.
  • What are the check-in & check-out times?
    Check-in time is 4 pm. Check-out time is 10 AM. Late check-outs must be requested before the morning of departure and are subject to availability. There will be a $25 charge added in order to accommodate changing the cleaners’ schedule.
  • Is there Wi-Fi?
    Yes, all of our properties are equipped with Wi-Fi. Please note, our Firefly Lagoon property is equipped with satellite internet service and is very limited at times (especially during rain storms). Do not expect high-speed wi-fi during your stay. Cell service is also weak due to our remote location.
  • Guest Access
    Guests have access to the entire cabin, with the exception of the owner's closet (labeled for authorized personnel). Please do not wander off the property as it is considered trespassing. Our neighbors own the properties immediately surrounding us and we ask you to respect their space. Do not park on the shared road or on the grass.
  • Keyless Entry
    We offer keyless entry - no keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using your very own personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.
  • How many vehicles can we bring?
    Both of our properties have enough space to fit 2 full-sized vehicles comfortably. Please do not park on the grass or the shared road.
  • Hot Tub & Pool Availability
    The hot tub is available for use year-round at both of our properties. For Firefly Lagoon guests, the outdoor pool is available seasonally (usually May-Sept.). If you're unsure if it's available during your stay, please reach out to us prior to booking.
  • Quiet Hours 10 pm - 8 am
    Please adhere to quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. Be respectful to our neighbors and our community. Zero tolerance for obscene behavior.
  • Parties and Unregistered Guests
    No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed without the approval from the owners. No parties or events of any kind. Please refrain from playing excessively loud music. We want to be respectful to our neighbors.
  • Swim at Your Own Risk
    There are no lifeguards in the pool area. You are liable for all that occurs while swimming. Please supervise your children at all times. Do not leave the back gates open. Swim at your own risk.
  • No Smoking
    We do not allow smoking or vaping of any kind inside of our properties. If you need to, please do so outside, away from open windows and doors. Guests who break this rule will be charged the full amount for ozone treatment to clear any smoking smell.
  • No Pets Allowed
